- Weirdest thing that happened to me in a while - In Ontario, loading my gear up after a gig, a cop walks up to me and tells me he caught a bit of my set and how he really dug it and how great it was to see something "fresh"... I'm confused, cause I don't normally get compliments from the police, but then he confuses me more by giving me $20 (!), as a sort of tip.... Go figure, eh!
- Coming Sept.7 - "CURRY UP!" The debut full-length LP/CD from the Tandoori Knights (on Norton Records)!
- Was on the highway with my draggin' wagon pointed towards the Ottawa Bluesfest to see THE GORIES and got a call from Gorie guit-man Dan Kroha - "Bill, can you drum for us today?!"...Man, I nearly drove off the road!! Turns out Peg's flight was cancelled and there was no way she'd be able to make it in time for the gig... By the time I got there and found the guys it was about 3 minutes before we were supposed to play, so basically I showed up and we hit the stage... Peg arrived about 5 minutes AFTER the gig was done, and luckily I was able to see the full-on Gories a couple nights later in Montreal... Life is cool!
- Back from an action-packed week in Calgary at Sled Island fest...Had a crazy fun ball seein' old friends and makin' new ones, MARK SULTAN & I did our first DING-DONGS show and had Jared from BLACK LIPS join us on a few songs... I got the rhythm section from THEE MANIPULATORS to back me up during an afternoon gig on Canada Day (with only 1 practice..great!)... I played drums with HELL SHOVEL too, ate free BBQ (pulled pork, yes!), swam about 20 times everyday (hot tub too, oh yeah) and overpaid for indian food (but it WAS really good)... Thanks SI!

- Also, Back from another tour of Europe (the 4th of 2010, if yer countin'), another super blast! Finally made my way back to the UK and i gotta say, the food was great (except for my "bone sandwich", that sucked)!
Big Thanks to JON SPENCER, MATT VERTA-RAY & the whole HEAVY TRASH crew for bein' so great & havin' me out with them again (when will they learn, eh?)...Check out the nice things Jon had to say about yours truly.
- Crazy times in Europe - THE SONICS, THE TRASHMEN, WANDA JACKSON, RODDY JACKSON, ANDRE WILLIAMS - Need I say more?!
- While in Berlin, KING KHAN & I got a chance (actually, 4 chances) to play some TANDOORI KNIGHTS shows...We also made a video for our song BROWN TRASH...Keep your eyes peeled for our new album coming out in September on NORTON Records!
- R'n'R pals from NY, THE A-BONES, came thru town recently to play a Teenbeat Takeover gig w/ REIGNING SOUND...We played, ate poutine, recorded and made many trips to Tim Hortons...Good times!
